About Us
James Dore Jr.
Mr. Dore is a third generation Seattle lawyer. An aggressive litigator with more than 17 years of legal experience, he has extensive experience in the areas of personal injury, construction accidents, government taking of property and property disputes. Mr. Dore’s practice also includes criminal defense, DUI and product liability.
After graduating from Seattle University in 1988 and obtaining his Juris Doctorate degree from Gonzaga Law School in 1991, Mr. Dore clerked for King County Superior Court Judges Larry Jordan and Frank Sullivan from 1992 to 1994. During that time he worked on some of the biggest criminal trials of the 1990s.
Prior to starting Dore Deutscher he was a partner with his father, Judge James Dore Sr. (retired), in the law firm Dore & Dore.
Admitted to the Washington State Bar Association in 1992, Mr. Dore is an EAGLE member of the Washington State Association for Justice (formerly the Washington State Trial Lawyers Association), and the Association of Trial Lawyers of America.

Ms. Deutscher is an experienced trial lawyer in the areas of medical malpractice and complex litigation. Ms. Deutscher is a graduate of the University of Washington who was born and raised in Seattle. She has been practicing law in the Northwest for more than 20 years.
During that time Ms. Deutscher has litigated cases against the United States of America in the federal courts, as well as complex cases involving patients’ rights and issues related to medical malpractice. With cases resulting in multimillion dollar resolutions for her clients, Ms. Deutscher is one of the nation’s leading trial attorneys.
At various Puget Sound Area Healthcare Facilities in Tacoma, Bremerton, and Seattle including Madigan Army Medical Center, the Seattle VA Hospital (Seattle Veterans’ Hospital), and Bremerton Naval Hospital, Ms. Deutscher has been actively pursuing lawsuits under the Federal Tort Claims Act.
Ms. Deutscher was named to the “Top 100 Trial Lawyers in Washington in 2008-2009” by The American Trial Lawyers Association – one of only three women so honored. She is a graduate of Gerry Spence’s Trial Lawyer’s College, and is now an invited staff member of the Trial Lawyer’s College.
An EAGLE member of the Washington State Association for Justice (formerly the Washington State Trial Lawyers Association [WSTLA]), Ms. Deutscher is also a member of the Washington State Bar Association and the King County Bar Association. She served as chairperson of WSTLA’s Medical Malpractice section in 2004-2005 and co-chair in 2005-2006.
Ms. Deutscher is a nationally recognized authority on complex medical malpractice issues and patients’ rights. In that capacity she has appeared on the ABC News program “20/20.”
